What an amazing experience. Have never tasted seafood so fresh! Despite the language barrier the staff treated us with respect and kindness making all effort to make us feel comfortable. Out waiter spoke English well and accommodated to our needs. It's a little away from the seaf…Más opiniones

It's a little away from the seafront restaurants however, it's worth the food!!!
If you are looking for fresh seafood, amazing customer service and brilliant desserts (recommend the fried milk) then go here.We ate twice in this lovely restaurant in July. Served by the same waiter Hristo, both times great service, very informative about the menu. Very helpful with my elderly parents.

Nice place to have some rice and tapas, always been in the Europeos area. Solid wine selection and good old school service. They've got gamba roja and jamón ibérico too!
First time in the restaurant, very nice efficient but relaxed service enjoyed our lunch. Traditional Spanish cuisine +.

Superb though watch for the grumpy old lady cleaner if you should want to use the bathroom ... she does not like you using it! Very strange ...

Es si no el mejor, uno de los mejores restaurantes de La Mata y diría que de la Vega Baja de Alicante. Todo el equipo que forman el mesón son profesionales que te hacen sentir como en casa. Con un servicio excelente y un producto fresco, cercano y de alta calidad. No dudamos nunc…Más opiniones

Todo el equipo que forman el mesón son profesionales que te hacen sentir como en casa. Con un servicio excelente y un producto fresco, cercano y de alta calidad. No dudamos nunca al elegirlo para nuestros momentos especiales y comidas en familia.
Cabe destacar sus arroces, en especial el arroz matrimonio, mitad a banda, mitad negro, buenísimo. También sus calamares a la andaluza, kokotxas, croquetas, pan con tomate y ajoaceite...en fin...un lugar en el que siempre se acierta y nunca nos vamos insatisfechos.

It's, if not the best, one of the best restaurants in La Mata, and I would say in the Vega Baja region of Alicante. The entire team at the inn are professionals who make you feel right at home. They offer excellent service and fresh, friendly, and high-quality produce. We never hesitated to choose it for our special moments and family meals. Its rice dishes are worth highlighting, especially the "marriage rice," half "a banda" and half "black rice," which is delicious. Also noteworthy are its Andalusian-style squid, kokotxas, croquettes, bread with tomato and garlic sauce... in short, a place where they always get it right and we never leave unsatisfied. Congratulations to the Arenas Moya family for making this our favorite during our stays in La Mata.
